Description
Application
should be made to Monroe County Community College, Financial Aid Department.
These
persons must be accepted in Monroe County Community College. Persons of any age may apply for the
scholarship provided they have completed high school or have a GED equivalent
and wish to further their training or education.
Four
(4) of these scholarships will be awarded.
The funds may be used for any education related expenses including
tuition, fees, books and supplies. The
scholarship may be awarded to either a first or second year student providing
the student has maintained satisfactory academic progress.
The
applicant must be a member of the Education
Plus Credit Union or eligible to become a member.
Enclose
with the application a paragraph giving your reason for requesting this
scholarship.
List
any community involvement or activities.

The
Students selected shall follow this procedure:
The
student must be enrolled in a minimum of six semester hours.
